We strive every day to address the needs of the children and families in our care. Our early learning centers offer high quality security systems. Your child’s health and safety is our highest priority, and we’ve invested in the latest and best technology to ensure that Kingdom Kids Childcare is safe and secure place for your child.
Health & Safety Procedures
We continue to put safety first to protect our families and staff. All teachers and staff still undergo training on health and safety practices. We continue to put safety first to protect our families and staff. All teachers and staff still undergo training on health and safety practices. Please note that our health and safety procedures have changed. If you have a question or would like clarification, please contact one of the center administrators directly to discuss the changes we have made.
Some changes you will notice:
Drop-off And Pick-up Procedures
Restricted building access. To minimize potential exposure and spread of germs we require that families not walk their children inside their classrooms when they arrive. Instead, please stay inside the doorway when you arrive. Also, please use the door to your child’s class whenever possible. If you have multiple children, please allow staff to walk other children to that classroom or use outside entryways. Classrooms will be reserved for teachers and children only. Thank you for your continued understanding!
Handwashing and sanitizing. Anyone who enters the building past the doorways will be asked to wash their hands. We will continue our regimen of handwashing with the children. Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available at the entry doors in the center.
Increased cleaning & and disinfecting. Staff will continue to clean throughout the day. Toys, playground equipment, and other high-touch surfaces will be regularly disinfected and rotated throughout the day.
Sick space. Centers will have a dedicated space where teachers can care for sick children while being separated from others until the child is picked up.
Contact-less Check-in
We are not requiring parents to sign a piece of paper to check their child in or out at this time. Instead, a staff member will make sure to mark your child in attendance on a printed form. Parents will be required to check their children in through the Brightwheel app.
Daily Online Communication
Kingdom Kids uses a parent communication app called Brightwheel. Each classroom has a tablet with the Brightwheel software specifically tailored for the childcare industry to provide families with instant communication. It utilizes mobile technology to provide visibility and communication between parents and teachers.
The Brightwheel software allows our teachers to capture special moments, take photos and videos of your child in action, as well as send you classroom information and updates throughout the day. Keeping in mind that direct, consistent and quality care is our priority, our teachers will report about your child’s naps, meals, and potty use as teachers have an opportunity throughout the day.

Secure Entry System
Every door is securely locked, and the building can only be accessed through a coded password. We utilize a coded password to ensure only authorized caregivers can pick up or drop off children in our centers. To gain access, all visitors must show a picture ID, even those authorized to pick up a child. Our security standards are rigorous and strictly enforced. Only authorized caregivers can pick up or drop off the children in our care.
Video Surveillance Technology
Kingdom Kids have a video surveillance system. Video surveillance technology is placed in areas of the facility so that children are monitored during play time, education, meals and nap time. Also, to prevent vandalism and theft, video surveillance technology may monitor the outdoor areas. It is extremely important for Kingdom Kids to provide safety for your family and staff. An informational sign informing the public that video surveillance is used will be placed at the main entrance at Kingdom Kids.
Fire & Emergency Preparation
Emergency procedures for medical, tornado, fire, and crisis management are in place. Kingdom Kids staff are trained on how to handle these situations if they should arise and practice drills according to licensing regulations. Regular fire drills are conducted throughout the year so that our children, staff, and teachers are prepared in the event of an emergency. Each center also has an emergency evacuation plan and a safe location to evacuate to if needed.
Checks & Staff Training
Every Kingdom Kids employee receives a thorough and comprehensive fingerprint and background check before entering our classrooms. Per DHS regulation and Kingdom Kids standards, all teachers must complete training hours in early childhood education each year, including infant, child, and adult First Aid and CPR.
Screen Time Policy
Screen time is used sparingly for preschool prek and school-age children, extremely rarely for toddlers, and never for infants. This screen time is not used to replace interactive play in learning centers such as reading, art, music/movement, etc. When a screen is used, it is always offered as a choice, not a reward, and should involve active engagement between teachers and children.
